A very rare complication from the procedure is the formation of hyper pigmentation and scars.

The formation of new collagen needs time and usually the results become visible after 3 to 6 months. In order to maintain the increased production of collagen, it is necessary to undergo a course of procedures annually.
Postoperative care
After the operation, it is necessary to hydrate the treated area and to avoid direct sun exposure. Application of a good and broad-spectrum sunscreen in everyday life is also advisable. Thus, not only the risk of skin cancer is prevented, but also the formation of wrinkles and aging is slowed down. Sunscreen prevents the formation of hyperpigmentation and scars.
